runtime error 481 invalid image

I have been using mowes portable II for about a year with no problems. Recently when I start it up I get the following error runtime error 481 invalid image. Sometimes I can remove my usb and try again and it will work again and sometimes it won't. Does anyone know how I can fix this issue? I am running 64 bit windows 7 and amd sempron 2.3.
